So everyone should know by now I am the queen of note dropping. As we all know in this day and age it's about your connections and while networking comes easily for some, a lot of people struggle with keeping these connections. For all those influential people you crossed paths with in 2014 drop them a handwritten note of a thoughtful email expressing your gratitude of the wisdom they may have shared or the impact they have left in your journey.
Audrey is a woman I worked with at Glu agency. This woman is the very woman who vouched for me not only for my job at Remy Cointreau but as well as the job I have now. I met Audrey back in December 2012 and I am still in communication with her and she now resides in Texas. Its the small thoughtful things like this that will show people how genuine you are. In the industry most are out for self so take these moments to show people that you truly care.
