As I am on a high of the amazing events that are taking place in my hometown. It was only right that I shared with y'all the details on Michigan Fashion Week. That's right New York isn't the only city with a fashion scene. If you are in the Midwest this week you definitely don't want to miss MFW. It's a great way to network and witness fabulous models, stylists, designers, fashion bloggers such as Mia Ray come together in the name of fashion. Michigan Fashion Week is a company that came together to provide exciting fashion shows while also giving a avenue to network. Now in there successful third year they are gaining even more notoriety.

Trendy Tuesday is back honey, and we are kicking it off with a Scandal!!!We are all obsessed with Kerry Washington's character Olivia Pope in the hit show Scandal. While you are counting down the days until the show's fall premiere (I can't wait). Now you can shop the look and purchase your own white hat. Olivia Pope's style is almost as popular as the show so an inspired Scandal collection is definitely something that we all saw coming.

Life can be brutal on the body and sometimes the face. I'll be the first to let you know "I did not wake up like this" but let me tell you hunty I grabbed the tube that should be labeled flawless and came ALIVE. I'm no one to keep secrets so let me fill you in on my fountain of youth tricks.... 

Post Grad Great Depression

This formula may have worked in the past, but not so much anymore. This is the dream everyone was sold and while some us were able to cash in that hefty receipt (oh I'm sorry I meant DIPLOMA), most of us found ourselves in the midst of a new age great depression.  People often tell me that they admire me because I am working in my chosen field of public relations, but what they always fail to realize about my journey is that it took me 1 year and 4 months to break into it.
