Wild Wild West
The very night I got back from DR. I had to pack up all of my life and prepare for the movers that were coming at 8am sharp. I was still in shock about this move. I absolutely could not believe that is was actually happening. GOD LA was never in my plans. I thought I was taking my talents back to Detroit not millions of miles away -SIGH-

25 ignites the fear of GAWD in a gal that’s on the road to finding herself.
Heaven knows I tried to hold my head up high and stay positive about turning
such a significant age but my soap opera life wouldn’t let me. While I let life
cloud my better judgment, my close family and friends allowed me to see the
monumental age in a whole new light.

Michigan Fashion Week
You Better Werk!!!
As I am on a high of the amazing events that are taking place in my hometown. It was only right that I shared with y'all the details on Michigan Fashion Week. That's right New York isn't the only city with a fashion scene. If you are in the Midwest this week you definitely don't want to miss MFW. It's a great way to network and witness fabulous models, stylists, designers, fashion bloggers such as Mia Ray come together in the name of fashion. Michigan Fashion Week is a company that came together to provide exciting fashion shows while also giving a avenue to network. Now in there successful third year they are gaining even more notoriety.

This formula may have worked in the past, but not so much anymore. This is the dream everyone was sold and while some us were able to cash in that hefty receipt (oh I'm sorry I meant DIPLOMA), most of us found ourselves in the midst of a new age great depression. People often tell me that they admire me because I am working in my chosen field of public relations, but what they always fail to realize about my journey is that it took me 1 year and 4 months to break into it. So seeing as we are all in this struggle together here's some tips I learned along the way...

Bang for your Buck: Zara
I like Zara but some of the items tend to be on the pricey side. Judge me if you want I'm on a PRista Budget. As I strolled past it yesterday I saw the sale sign and decided why not take a look. I walked in the door and into a broke girls retail heaven!
Life Lately

for I know that my little break into LaLa Land has gone on for far too long.
Now I could use the timeless excuse that "I've been soo busy" but
