PRista Pow- The Hustle

The PR hustle is never ending. I can easily be complacent with where I'm at in life right now but this PRista wants the more. So last night I took my talents to the premiere of Marlon Wayans Funniest Wins.

So after working a long day in my cube I changed into my all black everything and snuck out to arrive to the event on time. 25 minutes later and a 20 minute walk I arrived to the SoHo NY. As soon as I walked in the door I immediately went into event prep mode.

As the event started I took my normal post at the red carpet directing the photographer and videographer only to be told that I was also on social media duty. While tweeting and instagraming is fun on my leisure time at an event it's torture lol

The event turned out very well. While they are very draining I get to be surrounded by people that look like me and  have made strides in the industry. Blogxilla from GlobalGrind, Essence, Complex, Blu Magazine, and so many more were in this room with lil ole me. These events give me hope, replenish my hunger, and keeps my goals in sight.
