Noooo I wasn't ready for the weekend to end. Whelp hello Monday I will not let you haunt me. As I have more and more conversations with my friends who are also college grads, we are all coping with loss of our college careless years and adapting to our chosen stress filled careers. Here’s my top five relievers that are vital to my sanity throughout the work week:
Virtual Escape: I’ve been cable free for two years
now so I rely on the virtual world for my news and entertainment. Every day I
indulge in a good mix of business and
fun: Twana Tells, Adweek, Nycprgirls, FashionBombDaily, Yfsmagazine
SOS: Every time I hear that ping I know a
friend has came to my rescue. G-chat reminds me of a modern day AOL instant
messenger from back in the day. Instead of having your phone glued to your hand texting get on G Chat it allows you to catch up with friends without being questioned about your
work productivity
Plugging In: When I first started my position at
my company in September I learned that Spotify was BLOCKED. Oh hell naw was my
first reaction! After some digging and months of relying on youtube I was able
to find a loop hole and once again enjoy Spotify. From new c.ds to listening to
one artist Spotify puts me in such a happy place.
Sugar Rush: It's my guilty pleasure. The only thing besides Nivea's Complicated that instantly disovles my stress. Gummy Bears. Nom Nom Nom. -Trying to cut back to a pack a week. (Pops bear)
Master Minding: The great Mia Ray once said treat your 9-5 as an investor. While I love PR
I have a bigger dreams than being in a cube. I got the idea for this site while
I sat in my cube at Horizion Media. I highly suggest everyone to take some time out of every week to figure out their next move of your overall plan.
