Dear Generation Ratchete

Question:

As I scrolled down my timeline I read a tweet that mentioned the ancient topic of Greeks vs GDI's it instantly took me back to the time where I once sat in a room as someone stated "divine nine Greeks are the elite individuals within the black community" #Question1: Does this  statement hold any validity . Question2: In the real world is there a difference in career advancement between individuals who chose to partake in Greek life and those who did not. Question3: Is the term GDI offensive

Want to know what the leader of Generation Ratchete' Thinks...

Why I asked this question:
Since I still have friends in the college realm the Greek vs. Non greek topic arises almost on the daily. Which tells me two things 1. I need to hit that unfollow button and 2. Can some of my friends get in touch with reality already. So I wanted to know if people take on this debate post graduate life.

Answer I said YASS to:

Reasoning: He took the words right out of my mouth. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what set you rep. If you do not have the skills necessary for a position no one is just going to plug you into a position. Just because one is not a part of a network doesn't mean that it's closed off to you. I'm non greek and I've have had greek bosses that took me under their wing and helped me grow professionally. What this debate boils down to if one knows how to truly network instead of just trying to ask for handouts. There ya have it folks... until next week.
