Mama neva said it would be EASY!!
Every since I was a little girl I have always loved fashion. I always have been creative but shy and my sense of fashion was the way I choose to express myself. I guess my love for fashion just comes through my pores because I have always been asked for styling tips, and asked was I a model. So when I graduated from high school I decided this is my time. I am going to burst from my shell and do the damn thing. I had always wanted to go to college, but for whatever reason when it was time for me to graduate I decided I wanted to take a year off and explore life. But, mama wasn't having that. So I went straight to college majoring in none other but Fashion Apparel and a minor in Marketing. At the time, Marketing side I could at the time have cared less about I just wanted to be engulfed in fashion. So I completed my undergraduate courses and received my bachelors and I graduated ready for the fashion industry with hopes of being a stylist and creative director. I wanted to move straight to California and get my Lauren Conrad on. BUT, life happened and it happened again and again. From heartbreak, my mother's health, and some financial woes I found myself still in Michigan and frankly depressed. Everything that I was sure of I wasn't sure of anymore.

Keep People Around You Who Have Your Back |
So after talking to one of my good friends, she's actually more like family; and my LSO partner Tomeka. We decided to F the industry to create our own jobs. And that's what Lifestyleology is all about. Life happens the good, the bad, and the real. And we just want to let you know that you're not alone. Since graduating in December 2012 I have had seven jobs, and I have done it all in a short amount of time. From retail to mortgage banking.
Jaz's Tip: if you aren't at your dream job, yet take a deep breath its okay you will get there. Generation Ratchete we are all guilty of having a vision in our heads of how live is supposed to be. But life is hard and its not easy so look at your current job (if it isn't your dream job) as an investor. And like with any investor use that money to fund your dreams. But, whatever you do don't stop!!
